  4. About the Evaluation Version
  5. BeyondPress Eval is provided freely so that you can evaluate the features of the software and decide if you wish to purchase a full working version. It is not intended for production use.
  6. Note: BeyondPress Eval version 0.82 is based on a pre-release version of BeyondPress, and may contain errors which will be fixed in the final release.

  8. Limitations of BeyondPress Eval
  9.  - BeyondPress Eval will operate on any machine for 30 days. It will cease operation on all machines on 9/30/95.
  10.  - When exporting images, BeyondPress Eval will add the word “Demo” to the images.
  11.  - BeyondPress Eval will export only the first 2000 characters in a text box.

  14.  - Macintosh 68020 or better.
  15.  - MacOS 7.0 or greater.
  16.  - QuarkXPress 3.3 for Macintosh or QuarkXPress 3.3 for Power Macintosh

  22. IMPORTANT:  BeyondPress Eval (the “SOFTWARE”) is licensed by Astrobyte LLC (“ASTROBYTE”) to the original customer and any subsequent licensee for their use only on the terms set forth below.  BY USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS.

YOU MAY:  Use the software on any item of compatible hardware you own or use, and you may make backup copies of the software. You may distribute the SOFTWARE, provided you distribute it in exactly the form distributed by Astrobyte. If you're in doubt as to the origin of the copy of SOFTWARE you are using, you should obtain a reference release thru our Internet server at http://www.astrobyte.com/.

YOU MAY NOT:  (a) Rent, lease, transfer or grant sublicenses or other rights in the SOFTWARE; (b) Make alterations in the SOFTWARE, including modifications for use on non-compatible hardware;  (c) Disassemble, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disassemble or reverse-engineer any part of the SOFTWARE;  (d) Make translations of the documentation or SOFTWARE.

  28. Failure to comply with any term of this Agreement terminates your right to use the SOFTWARE.

THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS.  ASTROBYTE EXCLUDES ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT WILL ASTROBYTE BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. IN ALL EVENTS, ASTROBYTE'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO A REFUND OF THE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THIS SOFTWARE.

  35. Drag the "BeyondPress 0.82E" file into your QuarkXPress XTension folder and launch QuarkXPress.
